George Clooney the UNO peace ambassador

The United States’ actor and activist George Clooney was selected as the peace ambassador of United Nations Organization or UNO on Friday January eighteenth.  This position will give Clooney opportunity to improve international care towards the social and the political issue.

Clooney was assigned to that position UNO Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, and Clooney were asked to focus at UNO’s  effort to keep peace around the world. Clooney has been long time supporting human rights and has frequently conversed riot opponent in Darfur, Sudan.

The UNO announced that Peace ambassador chosen as an individual that have wide ability in term of art, film, playing, music and sport. And he or she is urges to able to help improving public’s care around the world. He will attend meeting of team of UNO peacekeeping countries in head office, New York.

The other Peace ambassador appointed by UNO were the former boxer Mohammed  Ali and tenor singer Luciano Pavarotti.
