Sharapova, the anti-poorness ambassador and nuclear blast

The world’s first woman tennis Maria Sharapova, became the newest celebrity that lifted as ambassador of circumference UNDP, by promise to exploit its charisma and popularity to look after and to fight poorness in the world.
In press conference in UNO headquarter, the 19 years old Russian tenis player also rendered 100.000 USD for eight projects done by UNDP in rural area in Belarusia, Russia and Ukraine that still affected by the burst of nuclear reactor Chernobyl 1986.
“My The first step is focus to area that have been experienced of effect of burst it Chernobyl, a place where my family came from. Poorness and lack of opportunity has become the main problem that experienced by youth in Chernobyl area” said the photogenic woman tennis player, like cited AFP.
Chernobyl tragedy happens in 26 April 1986 –the hardest tragedy of nuclear reactor explosion– give off radioactive fallout that disseminate to Europe and still threat millions of people in Ukraine and neighbour countries.
